There is no such thing as a separate non-resident FL permit.
I have a FL permit and of course it is good in FL.
The problem you will have is that states MI, NH, CO, and SC require you to have a FL driver's license before they wil honor your FL permit.
NH will sell you their license if you meet their requirements, but with the other 3 states you are simply not going to legally carry there.

ME does not recognize FL at all, but will sell you their license, as will a few other states.
