I have Crimson Trase Lasergrips on several of my revolvers and auto pistols. They are great in dim light or during evening hours when you can't quite make out the front sight on your gun. I still train using the sights on the gun, but the laser grips aid when you can't fully extend your arms to assume a strong shooting position.
