This almost sounds like a po-tay-to vs. po-ta-to thing.
Although I can't speak for a Model 10's hammer, there is a .265" wide
service hammer (Models 13 and 65 come to mind) and a non-target Model 19 usually had a .375" wide
semi-target hammer.
