i agree. one of the reasons i went with the hogue was the screw rust and the grip screw housing rust. i also appreciate the recoil explosion absorbtion of the hogue bantam grips - the best. i pocket carry and ankle carry and see zero issues with either draw with this rubber grip.

btw, i got mine from midwayusa (Hogue Bantam Grips $18.49) and they are on my 642-1 no-lock and 342Ti AirLite.
