Magnaporting has some potential benefits and imposes some costs. It is at its best with high pressure cartridges and longer barrels (for example, a 7 1/2" .454 Casull). You are not likely to see any noticeable benefit in a 340, and you're going to get blast and flash redirected up into your own sensory envelope. IMHO, a bad idea for this gun.
