You would most likely experience less muzzle rise and magna-porting is not as dramatic in blast as is a full porting job. That said, I agree with the others and would stick to 38+P loads vs going to a full .357 and porting. Not to mention trying to eject .357 casings from most J frame snubbies can be tedious at the range and life threatening in a shooting.
