I am fortunate enough to own most of the .45 acp pistols that S&W makes or has made. My choice of carry is the 457. I wanted a small blued liteweight cc pistol. The only modifaction is S&W installed a slide mounted decocker only safety. Also I wanted a firearm that I was not worried about holster wear and all the other evils that happen to a ccw. For years I carried a FBI 1076, with the value continuing to climb I decided to retire it to the safe.
