I was loaned an FBI-issue Model 13 x 3" for a short time to test the platform for my agency--this was during the mid-1980s. My impression then and now is that the K-frame 357 Magnum with 3" barrel is a VERY FINE "soft-clothes" carry gun. If I located a M-13 or M-65 x 3" for sale at reasonable cost, I would pounce like a cat on it. For now, a M-19 x 2.5" takes its place nicely.
