This thread got me looking at my pinned and recessed 13-2 I bought used with Pachs on it. Could this be another FBI gun? I gave it some thought while examining the wheelgun closely. I came to the conclusion that there will be no need to get a letter on this one. It has been carried a bit and shows some blue wear, but does not show the evidence of having been run through the FBI's extensive Academy training. I would assume just one agent packing this gun through the academy alone would show wear from a few thousand rounds at least? Unless it was swapped out with an existing agent when the FBI adopted the 13 it would certainly be well shot-in.
