I've had my 442 for about six weeks now. It's a great little gun (made me remember how much I like shooting wheel guns after a decade of shooting 1911s).
I paid a premium for the Pro-series 442 for two reasons: no lock and the ability to use moon clips. I still love the no lock, but thus far the moon clip option hasn't worked well.
I have yet to find a make of brass that works well. In fact, after trying some Double Tap, Fiocchi, Speer, and Remingtons, the Remingtons are the only ones that let me get the cylinder closed. And even then, the rims ride high enough that it is difficult to pull the trigger.
I've given up on the moon clips as a viable option until I can find a type of ammunition that works.
