I don't see how you get it that with it being compare to a stainless that is made every day to a blued round butt 586 that only 2500 was made. That wouldn't be fair to the 586, its not rare, but it is hard to find one in good shape. Plus if you cut the frame (which I have done myself) to a round butt with drop the valve to half, plus you are talking about a reblue job on top of that.
