The whole TSA is a joke.

We just left Florida for MN. When leaving here we pretty much just "waltzed" through security.

When leaving Mpls/St Paul I went through OK my wife had to go through the "Transporter" I think it was every other one or something. The lines were outrageous. Many, many TSA employees just standing around doing nothing.

They basically make you strip, belt shoes etc but no where to sit to put your shoes back on?

But think about the recent cargo, toner cartridge scare. Hardly any cargo is actually scanned and there is tons and tons of it flown every second of every day. Lots are put on passenger planes as well.

It's almost like being out on the boat, you have no rights and can be stopped, searched without cause. I have been boarded by the Coast Guard and searched without any warrant and not in international waters. The CG can tear your boat apart looking for drugs, illegals whatever and you have no recourse for the damage done, nor can you sue or file a insurance claim.
Police and Marine Patrol can stop you anywhere, anytime for "safety checks".
