Roll crimp better for 45acp revolver vs taper crimp?
Since last year I've been using a Lee carbide die set in my 550b. Works perfectly with my 9mm and 45acp semi.
Just called to place an order for Bear Creek 200gr swc and the informative gentleman told me a crimp die would work better for speedloading situations in a revolver because it does away with the sharper edge of a tapered crimp.
Will it be worth spending the $15-$25 for one roll crimp? Will it be a bit more difficult to crimp as opposed to the very automatic carbide die taper crimp?
