As for "prepping the trigger" that was something different that was argued here in this thread as a technique that was taught to new agents at Quantico. Most of the guys here that have true first hand experience, meaning they were there, don't recall that education. From what I recall it had something to do with partially pulling the trigger enough to shorten the pull without actually firing the gun. I know, it doesn't sound like a good idea to me either.

You'll love shooting that gun, it is still by far my favorite gun to shoot and is shot accurately without much talent. I speak from personal experience on that note. Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the forum.
