I will address your questions in order:

I love my R8, yet it has not taught me very much. I only shoot mine DA, even when I use it for bullseye shooting.

I enjoy the precision and accuracy of the revolver. I also like the barrel heavy balance of the R8, reminds me of PPC guns of years past.

You can get accessories anywhere you like, pick a shop or online retailer.

I have not put a light on it, yet I did put an eotech on mine. The eotech made it a quite a bit heavier and it did not have an impact on the accuracy or precision of my R8.

Tips on cleaning and care, shoot it more then you clean it. It is well built out of materials that do not corrode easily. No need to clean it after every range trip. I usually clean my every month or so and I go to the range once or twice a week.

The stock front sight is a bit problematic with any holster other than a speed rig. The front sight is easily removed without tools, which is a great feature. A ramp would be more suitable for a holster. I have a holster for mine, a simply rugged sourdough pancake and it is a fine piece of leather.
