Tom: I know this is starting to be repetitive (and turning into
a grips thread), but could you tell me more about the stocks on the 44 please?

I am wrestling with the choice of a smooth wooden grip for my
Mountain gun when it gets back from Magnaport. I do like the look of
the Ahrens but don't want the sharp cut-out on the left.
The smoother thumb rest area of the Jordan Trooper style appeals
to me.
