My advice is to get the carpal tunnel problem fixed. I had it in both wrists and have had surgery to correct the problem. I have been symptom-free for eight years since the surgery and regularly shoot .22s, 9mms, .40 cals, .44 Special/Mag, .45 Long Colt and .45 ACP without any problems.
The surgery is relatively simple and is done on an out-patient basis. Recovery is rapid and physical therapy is minimal.
