I was whining about something at work one day when I was in my late 30's, sounding like a grumpy old man, when one of my co-workers, who was pushing 60, looks at me and says, "You know what you are? You're a young fogey." Of course, I was dumb enough to tell my wife about it, and still hear it on a regular basis (I'll be 50 next month).
