I bought one 20+ years ago. I still have the original box and it has a big red sticker that says:

"Special edition handgun produced by Smith & Wesson exclusively for Ashland Shooting Supplies, Inc."

From what I've read elsewhere, they resell for around $300. If the gun is so rare, supposedly only 25 made, you would think that it would be worth more than a few dollars over original cost.
