It is your pistol, but I would strongly advise against refinishing that 469 if it is in good shape. There were not many made (not sure about the 25 figure, but not many in any case) and there are LOTS of moderately worn 469's out there to refinish without ruining a collectors piece. These factory nickel 469's sell for somewhat more than a blue 469. I have seen one bring $400 at our local gunshow, without a box or even a spare mag. I think they will start to bring more money as people become aware how limited they are, and just how unique they are. Not many collectors even know there was a factory nickel 469.

I think $300 would be on the very low side value of one, unless it had a good bit of wear, no box, etc.
