the comment about the sr9 was sarcastic. i could have bought that locally instead of driving to pick up the sd9. the reason i got the sd9 was reading all the positive comments about it here. i owned a sigma 40 for many yrs, i'm a smith fan. yes, it is my fault for purchasing a firearm with compromised eyesight. the last thing i worried about was a cosmetic flaw. i have known the sales person for 20yrs, so there was no deception on his part. the person with me was not a gun person-just giving me a ride. and lastly, i'm teed off and wanted to vent. i guess i should have known better than to complain about a brand new s&w gun on a s&w forum. maybe i should hang out with the glock guys so i can complain and get a little sympathy.(again being sarcastic)
