I never buy new guns, I let some other sucker buy it for full price and get it when he gets tired of it and eats the depreciation. I will buy used lock,mim, etc etc etc, after the price is right. Are they as good as the 50's and 60's models? No. Fit, finish and smoothness are nowhere near what S&W used to include, but these days what is? We are midgets standing on the shoulders of giants.
