Cut a piece of small rubber tubing or lawnmower fuel line tubing and stick it in the back of your Ruger or Keltec .380 between the hammer and the back of the slide. This will cushion the hammer so you can dry fire practice, and you only have to pull the slide back about a half inch to set the trigger.
Paper plates with a vanilla wafer hot glued to the middle for an "exploding bullseye" target. Cut some thin rope or parachute cord and tie it to your belt in two places a few inches apart and leave a little loop. This makes a "poor mans" inside-the-waistband holster so you can stick your gun in your pants but it will keep it in place and not slide down. The bottom of a ceramic coffee cup for a knife sharpener, and wadded up soft green leaves for last ditch hearing protection.
