I suspect the Brownells sight is made by Weigand Smith Wesson Rear Sight Blade K L N. If not, it's an exact copy.

I have them on 2 K-Frames I use for IDPA and they have been fine so far. I don't think I have come anywhere near snagging it on a cover garment. On one I use the factory front sight with the red insert and on the other I use a custom "thinned" .250 tall "all black" front that's .100 wide. I prefer the .140 wide rear notch with the .100 wide front sight (and no dots or colors).

It's "normal" for the sight to wobble slightly but I have not noticed any ill effects from this in actual shooting.

I have read that Randy Lee at Apex Tactical is making a steel replacement rear sight but I have not seen one.
