I'm not Bruce (bdGreen) and don't have his depth of knowledge by a long shot but I do have 2 of the 116 Ashland Shooter Supply 6 inch 617's.
I even put a set of diamond grips on one for a shot
...
I wish they'd do another run of these in 4 & 6 inch.
