S&W customer service is A1
Sent Rifle in on 3/18/11(it was supposed to take 4 to 6 weeks)
Today 4/5/11 I received rifle back. 6 days shipping plus 6 days with the week end. It has a threaded barrel and flash hider. The old barrel with the barrel nut (so now I can make my own barrel wrench) and a extra new magazine.

I can send my S&W 15-22 to S&W for a NEW barrel and put on a A1 Flash Hider for $130.00 Plus $30.00 shipping for a total of $160.00. I would still have a Life Time Warranty
They don't actually thread the old barrel and they said they will send the old barrel back.
