Cylinders have British proofmarks, but the backstrap has a 2nd South African proof. ***This gun is .38 S&W, not .38 special***. Nickel refinish shows wear and age...she's rough but that comes with the territory. All serial numbers match, and the gun has not been converted. Comes with a simply stunning set of fake stag grips (Franzite?). I have extras of these babies if you must have one.
