Don't know anything about Millet except to say I never understood why people took the perfectly good rear sight off their S&W and replaced it with the Millet unit. (Just kidding.
)
I guess it does have what some consider to be an advantage of the full blade-only presentation - that is to say, only the blade is visible from the shooter's position, the body of the sight being concealed. If you prefer that sort of layout and cannot get your Millet running again, Hamilton Bowen has an S&W sight with the full blade-only presentation. It is available in a variety of styles, including a white outline.
