Not true, I know the mag releases are different and I believe the sights are also. Are you sure the trigger is plastic? I think they no longer make the mag release in plastic, I order them from Brownells and they are metal now, but the mag catch nut is still plastic and have to be as they are a push on fit to the mag release.
