My bad! I was so frustrated with the plastic sights and mag release that I presumed the trigger
is plastic, too, because of the "joint" in the middle section of the topmost part of the trigger.
But I ran a strip of refrigerator magnet and it sticks to the trigger.
But the mag release and sights are still plastic, though.
