I put a set of full size J frame rubber grips (ordered from S&W) on my 36...and it is very comfortable, and just what I wanted.

I put the wooden grips in the box, and will keep them for posterity...but for use, I prefer the rubber grips. I've never had the "T" and won't try to get one...so maybe I don't know what I am missing...but I'm happy with what I have.
