BTW: I shot a match recently with the new sight and only dropped three points. I was very happy with that result.

Thanks Palmetto. It does help, but I'm still wondering if buying the set (front & rear) is better than just buying the front sight & blacking out the stock rear. If there's even a slight benefit to buying the set, I'll cough up the extra $14. Otherwise, the $14 gets me another box of ammo.
