One of my co-workers had an early Sigma in .380. He "wore it out" within a year and sent it back to the factory. Thanks to the Lifetime Warranty that so many of us enjoy the factory sent a brand new replacement to his local dealer. It seems that our friends at S&W knew that the pocket sized Sigmas would not last forever and were prepared to replace the failing ones that were worn out by their original owner.

I regret never shooting that little Sigma but it just didn't appeal to me. Of course that was also before the time where I was forced to carry a G23 and later the M&P40 so I was still a die hard 2nd and 3rd generation Smith fan.

I'll have to check the catalog to see how many of those pocket sized Sigmas they made. I bet it wasn't too many!
