Recently took delivery on a .40 M&P Pro 5". Learned from other forum posts that the paper label on the plastic case contains a code indicating date of build (0277 in my case). Close (very close) examination of this same label indicates there are very, very small letters at the very edge of the label below and just to the right of the date code. On my label they seem to be " swf.gnew ".

Anybody know if this character string tells me anything about the pistol? I suppose it could just be something to do with the label printing process - or even just a random string - but I am curious if there might be additional meaning.......
