Thanks for bringing this thread back to life. As I read it, I am reminded of details in the Chief's life that I had forgotten.

The gun is still a much appreciated part of my collection. It will be in my display of about 40 guns that represent the evolution of the N frames (from the Triple Lock to the .44 Mag.) at the NRA annual collectors show held in conjunction with the Dallas Arms Collector Show on August 20-21.
