I'm not a pessimist by nature, but my last four gun purchases, all within the past year, have been done in light of "What guns would I want to have, and be able to pass on to my children, if in spite of the
Second Amendment, guns became difficult if not impossible for my children or grandchildren to obtain?

My ammunition purchases have been motivated along the same line.

In Arkansas, the popular calibers of pistol, rifle, and to so extent shotgun ammunition have been very hard to find during the past 3-4 months. The guns are there but the ammunition is hard to find unless you want to shoot FMJ in pistol or #8 birdshot for shotgun. Popular calibers like .30-30, .243, and especially .270 can be found but are high priced.
