The ejector rod and center pin had to be shortened but I do not have any problems with ejection. The case mouths are right at the edge of the cylinder at full ejector rod stroke. The most difficult part was the welding up of the front sight to get it to shoot to the sights with 250 gr. bullets.

Also, some of the 625 versions were made with short cylinders. I would never go out of my way for one with a short cylinder but some people seem to like them. Actually, the -10 also had a short cylinder and my barrel had to be modified accordingly to fit my long cylinder -4.
