For years I've carried a 5" 629 Classic in a SafariLand holster -- A belt rig but fairly high-ride. The belt is a 2" 3 ply nylon w/plastic insert that's VERY stiff and that surely helps.

I'm either walking/fishing or on a horse when I'm carrying this rig.
