As far as plastic guns go I will take a Gen 3 9mm Glock over any 9mm M&P any time. I have owned all of them and I can honestly attest to the fact that 9mm M&Ps are not worth the trouble. Maybe S&W will resolve their issues someday but until then Gen 3 Glocks rule (Gen 4 seem to have a lot of issues too, so I would stay away at the moment).
