The triggers are more easily fixed, stainless steel and synthetic stocks are more desirable, to me, anyway, and the last Marlin .44 I bought was a poor example in several respects --- wouldn't/couldn't shoot anywhere near point of aim with factory sights, had numerous and dangerous undressed sharp edges on the bolt and other parts, all in all was inferior to the Ruger K77 bolt guns...
