I would have to agree. Not an expert on the model 29 prices, but the pre 29's are in the $2,500+ range so I would think a real nice late 50's gun with all of the bells and whistles would easily be in the high teens.
Of course as with real estate it is location, location, location and with guns it is condition, condition, condition. You state that the condition is excellent so I think that gets the price up in the higher limits.
