I took off yesterday for a day of shooting. As I had not fired the 5943 SSV I decided to bring it along for a test fire. I shot 45 rounds of WWB and the function was flawless. I had no reason to expect otherwise, but, until I shot the gun I couldn't be sure. I found the gun to be a very smooth shooter. I've heard some say that along with 4586 the 5943 had the best Smith DAO trigger going. As I own and regularly shoot a 4586 I would have to agree that the 5943 DAO trigger is indeed sweet. If I didn't already have the 4586 I would be keeping the 5943 SSV.

The price on this gun stands at $400 plus shipping but reasonable offers will gladly be considered, but no trades.
