I am really glad to find the S&W forum (where have I been?)
I've been collecting guns for several years and of course I am a huge fan of S&W pistols and revolvers. Looks like this is going to be a great place to talk about guns!
Can I get started now? Here goes
I have Model 686 CS-1, 3" barrel, bead-blast finish, box marked to the gun and the papers, appears to be unfired. I've had a hard time trying to find a value on this gun. "Bluebook" doesn't tell me anything on the CS-1.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
