Why would you want to defeat the only safety feature that the firearm has? I have mine down to 4 1/2 lbs which is the least that I feel comfortable with, it being my CCW. The length of the pull is similar to other DAO pistols, if you're not comfortable with it why not sell it or trade it in on a SA/DA pistol?
One problem that you might run into would be light primer strikes. Since the length of pull determines how far the striker comes back against the spring, a shorter pull would equal less pressure unless you went to a heavier spring, which would give you a shorter pull but heavier...
