There were articles in the paper and news about the big accident on I-44 last year when some school busses were involved. The driver that caused the accident had sent 11 text messages in the last 11 minutes of his life as he ran his pickup into the back of a semi. The NTSB, i believe, was calling for a national ban on cell phone use in vehicles. However, that has not been done in Missouri. The legislature let die a bill last session on banning texting for all drivers. It is unlawful for minors only, at the present time.
