The laser is visible in most light conditions except direct sunlight. Just got back from the range today where another shooter who had never shot a gun with a laser sight tried my PPK/S and loved it. Follow up shots are very fast and accurate. There are those who look down on laser sights as a crutch but I believe that anything that makes you faster with accuracy is a good thing.

I don't have lasers on any of my revolvers but I rarely carry them...all three of my carry autos have lasers. I don't see a down side.
