If you want iron sights thats fine, just letting you know that batteries shouldn't be much of a concern for a 48 hour period. And I keep an extra battery in my magpul grip.

ill be keeping the houge that comes with my Performance Center 15-22,,,, i cant stand the feel of a saw style grip or a magpul grip,,,,, and i had no idea that lil dot sight could last that long,,,, i may look in to it,,,, have u used it out side in the sun light to see if its bright enough for day light use
