I was at the local gun shop today and stumbled across a 1917 45. The surface had small specs of rust all over the finish (freckling) and the grips were incorrect. Magnas that were cracked and glued. It is stamped US property and has the lanyard loop, the action seems to be tight. It has a 5 digit serial number on the butt 20xxx. The price is 675.00. Good or too much money? Does anyone know when it was made? Thanks!
