I have a 337 that I have been considering getting the body guard hammer for until I can find a 38-3.
The only reason, I put the short hammer on was for snagging purposes. It is easier to cock with the long hammer, but I dont really plan on ever using single action.
Hey, its easier to cock than a model 38!
But I like to know that the option, of single action is there. (Thats why I didnt bob the long hammer).
I am still searching for that 38-3 also... I had one once and sold it like a dummy....
