I have the ellusive San Antonio P.D. model 58. The marking appears to be department stamped, not rolled by Smith. It has SAPD on the left side of the frame just under the cylinder. Serial #N1878XX. I found it in Kenner,La. several years ago. Does anyone know how many of these were done this way? I had to have it shipped to my FFL because I don't live in Louisiana. I also have a 3" model 65 marked B.R.P.D. (Baton Rouge) I have several department marked riot guns also.
